Hi everyone! Today’s episode was supposed to come out yesterday but I forgot about the Super Bowl lol. So I figured delaying it by a day would be the better move. Speaking of the Super Bowl, I only cared about the halftime show (I’m more of a basketball guy). Bad Bunny and his team really killed it, the programming of the songs, the actual performance, and the set design were INSANE. I’d love to hear what you thought!
Other than that I also watched this video that has stuck with me all week:
I also listened to a couple of new albums, notably Croak Dreams by Puma Blue, The Fall Off by J. Cole, Butterfly by Daphni, and Piss in the Wind by Joji. Out of those four, I only really loved the Puma Blue and Daphni projects. What have you been listening to this week?
Lastly, this week’s episode is a 20-minute J Dilla / Nujabes tribute. I always think it’s crazy that they were both born on the same day and passed around the same date (different years, though). After that, we move into some Soul and R&B, rocking back and forth between the classics and newer stuff.
